Can we bring our dog?

Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs around the animals as it makes them nervous either on walks or glamping.

How long before our walk should we arrive?

Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the allotted time.

What if we’re late for our walk?

We will wait for 10 minutes but after that time we will have to proceed with the walk without you. Your deposit will not be returned.

What clothing/footwear do I need?

Sensible clothing appropriate to the weather is required and good footwear for walking across uneven ground and fields which can be very muddy! No umbrellas please as they frighten the animals!

What cafe/toilet facilities are there?

We do not have a cafe but we have a lovely picnic area for your use. There are portlaoo with handwashing facilities on site.

Will the walk still go ahead if it’s raining?

Yes, if its drizzling then the walk will proceed. However, if the weather is horrendous then we will let you know up to 30 minutes before that it is cancelled and we will reschedule or refund your deposit.If the walk is going ahead and you decide not to come then you will not receive a refund.

What time is arrival/checkout?

Arrival is 3pm and check out is 11am. We also offer a late check out option at the point of booking.

Can we bring our dog?

Is there a BBQ/fire pit?

Yes there is a BBQ and fire pit. You need to bring wood and BBQ coals. We have some bags of wood for purchase on the day.

Is there a heater inside the bell tents?

In early and late season there will be a calor gas heater provided in each tent.

Can we park next to the tent?

There is a parking area provided at the top of the field to prevent vehicles driving over the field.

Can we bring our own caravan/tent?

No, additional tents / caravans are not allowed.

Can we feed the animals?

Yes we will give you a small bucket of feed and the animals are all around you. You can bring your own carrots / apples to feed them too.

What do we need to bring?

You need to bring your OWN BEDDING including Quilts, Sheets and Pillows. Please bring torches and bbq coals. Each tent has: kettle, Camping stove, Picnic basket with utensils and basics, Frying pan, Lighters, Washing up bowl and liquid, Candles, Electric pack for small items/lamps.

Can we smoke?

Smoking is NOT permitted in the tents. If smoking outside please do so away from the tents and do not leave cigarette ends lying around as the animals could eat them and harm themselves.
